I have been busy crafting fabric hearts to use in my Valentine's decor. They are really easy to make. I learned to make these last year by following a tutorial by Jane at Cottage at the Crossroads.
I purchased some of the $.97 squares of fabric that are already cut and packaged for quilts. They are not fat quarters, but are larger squares. I can get 4 large hearts and three or four small ones from one square. So for about $2.00, I have all these hearts. Below a basket is filled with fabric hearts.
These are so much fun to make, and can be done while watching t.v. Mine are not embellished like those Jane makes, but they work fine.
I hope you will try making these. Thanks to Jane for sharing the tutorial on these!
