Sharing Shadymont, My Mountain Cottage

We are having glorious weather in the North Georgia mountains. Yesterday, it reached 78 degrees, on the 24th of February. Hope this isn't an indication of things to come!!  I enjoy cooler weather.  We'll take what we get, though, right?  It's all good!! With all the tulips, forsythia, and jonquils blooming everywhere, I decided a spring mantel was in order, and of course I have my faux flowers placed here and there.  If spring isn't officially here, it's here inside my home!  I do realize we might have more winter weather, but at the moment, we are celebrating spring at Shadymont. I checked out our GW on Sr. discount day this week, and found nothing!!  One day later, I hit the jackpot.  Some really nice stuff, y'all! Look at this!  Can you believe it?  Total price.............drum roll, please....................................................................$19.41!! I couldn't believe all the turquoise items I found!  I had ladies stopping to look at the items in my cart!  I mean, this was perfect timing! Of all my rooms, the sun room is probably my favorite.  I like the soft colors, and the outdoor views.  This room has a shabby cottage theme, with lots of birds and flowers.  You may remember my $6.00 makeover of this room.  If not, you can see it here .   I love the sunlight this room gets all morning.  It beams through the windows, making it a warm spot on cooler mornings. We often have our morning coffee here. It's a great place to start the day.  The room sits between the master suite and the screened porch. While out thrifting the other day, I found this sweet metal container and decided to give it a patriotic look.  I gave a lot more for the flowers than the metal pocket, but I wanted the flowers to be really nice, so I got these at HL. I have the red, white, and blue, but not the usual flowers we see everywhere.  It hangs on my front door.  (<$2. for container). I found this dish, which reminds me of the old refrigerator dishes.  I believe it had a top which is missing.  It's made of heavy glass and the sides are ribbed.  It sits in the china cabinet. I thought this was the cutest little wire bowl.  Chicken wire, no less.  It could be flipped over and used as a wire cloche.  I placed this ceramic rose (a gift from a friend) inside it and it sits on the table in the sunroom.  It was $.49.
