Sharing Shadymont, My Mountain Cottage

I checked out our GW on Sr. discount day this week, and found nothing!!  One day later, I hit the jackpot.  Some really nice stuff, y'all! Look at this!  Can you believe it?  Total price.............drum roll, please....................................................................$19.41!! I couldn't believe all the turquoise items I found!  I had ladies stopping to look at the items in my cart!  I mean, this was perfect timing! Flowers: $2.92;  plates:$1.21 each;  metal buckets: $1.21 each  Hugs sign: $2.92;  White Pottery Barn Vase, $3.93;  Wood Fleur de lis $3.93.   Un be liev able!!!!!  Did I know what I was going to do with all this?  No!  But I knew I had to have all of it!! Tuesdays are Senior Discount day at our local Good Will.  Of course I made my rounds through the housewares, and found the cutest thing.  Mind you, it didn't look like this when I got it, but I knew I could give it a little makeover.  Sorry I didn't get the before picture, but imagine it with sprigs of green with dark yellow pom-poms on the end, some type of tall leaves sticking up, and ivy with half the leaves off, wrapped around the handle. I pulled out everything that looked bad (all of the above), washed the piece a little, to at least remove some of the grime, and placed the 2 pink flowers in it, tied a piece of twine around the handle, and voila!! I almost didn't buy it because it looked so bad, but I'm so glad I did.  Something as simple as removing the ugly, and adding 2 pink stems, gave it a complete facelift! I don't know what these are called, but it is metal, chippy, and is 4 small pails bound together.  Love this new little t...
