Sharing Shadymont, My Mountain Cottage

Lover of aqua that I am, I am sharing how I presently have my family room decorated.  Nothing is new, though I recently found the tall shutters at the Good Will.  I painted them gray, but I think it blends in well with the aqua on the mantle and gives some contrast. I recovered an ottoman recently.  It was a goldish color with small burgundy print, and I covered it with this beige fabric which was part of a pack from GoodWill.  I placed it with the accent chair and draped an aqua throw across the ottoman.   And of course, my aqua table has its spot beside the chair.       I brought this taller round table, a GoodWill find of course. Hi everyone, I've done it again.  I just can't get back on a regular schedule of posting.  But I did gather a few photos showing some of my favorite finds and also favorite areas in the house.  So for lack of much to post about, this will have to suffice for a few days anyway.  Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the Spring.  It's not a lot like Spring here, we have cool temps and flash flood warnings all night tonight. You may remember this small table that I have in the family room.  I changed it some and added a blue bird to the cloche on the bottom shelf. I placed photos of my grandchildren on the coffee table in a tray found at GW.  I like the depth of the tray and the leather handles. Except for the Easter items, I left the mantel as I had it before. I've been busy lately, and my blogging has suffered.  I've had lots of paperwork to go through, and we made a trip to see my grandson and his wife.  We had such a wonderful time, lots of good food and time with family.  There's nothing like it. I awoke around 4 AM this morning, and had my house cleaned by 8:30.  Then I had to make the rounds to the post office, Wal Mart, and of course Good Will!! I'll point out what I purchased as I show pictures.  This post will be photo heavy, so grab yourself a beverage and relax as I take you through the house and point out how I've decorated for winter season.
