It has been a while since I posted anything, almost a month. I don't think I've ever gone that long. Things are good at Shadymont. I live alone now, but that's ok. I've learned to do it again. I lived alone for 5 years between my first husband's death and my 2nd marriage. Just took him 13 years to get tired of me. (lol) But I find that I'm happy right here. I cook once a week for my daughter and granddaughter, she cooks one time a week for me. But I mostly eat ceral and salads. Haven't lost a lot of weight, but my water bill is down quite a bit. I don't run the dishwasher but about once a week. I run the washer when I have full loads. I was having lots of repair bills on my 17 year old SUV (235,000) miles on it. I was just drivig through a local car sales place last Saturday, and found the perfect little vehicle for me @ 24 miles per gallon. $ 30.00 for a fulll tank, and it has bells and whistles, I'll probably never understand.
