Sharing Shadymont, My Mountain Cottage

For Mother's Day, my daughter bought me a gift card to Good Will.  Does she know me or what???!!! Today, I'm showing what I chose to buy, and still have money left on the card! Remember this pastel canvas I found a while back?  I found a larger canvas that reminded me of this one, and for $4.94 with 25% off, I bought it. The ladies in the pictures remind me of the one in the smaller one, and both on canvas, it was a no brainer.  I'm not crazy about this frame, so It is likely to change, but I like the way it blends with the golden plants, so I don't know what I'll do. I found a 3 tiered crystal stand last week and a two tiered this week.  The three tiered is in my master bath holding my lotions and creams. There were two of this type of Spode plates, priced at $ 1.91 less 25% 1.43 after discount.  I love the color. They are so pretty and worked in my hutch done in blue and white. I still have about $10.00 for more goodie

Lover of aqua that I am, I am sharing how I presently have my family room decorated.  Nothing is new, though I recently found the tall shutters at the Good Will.  I painted them gray, but I think it blends in well with the aqua on the mantle and gives some contrast. I recovered an ottoman recently.  It was a goldish color with small burgundy print, and I covered it with this beige fabric which was part of a pack from GoodWill.  I placed it with the accent chair and draped an aqua throw across the ottoman.   And of course, my aqua table has its spot beside the chair.       I brought this taller round table, a GoodWill find of course.
