Do you ever just have the blahs? I've been so lazy for the last couple weeks. No energy to do anything!! Today I finally did some cleaning, but as far as having any creative energy, well that's just not happening right now. On that note, I was looking through some of my photos and decided to get a post together from photos with a common theme. So, hope you enjoy these "white" vignettes.
I'm really going to try to get back in the swing of creating. Hope you are feeling creative and not stuck with the winter blahs like me.
This makes me wish for Spring.
Birds, bird cages, green plants
Tea time.
I'm really going to try to get back in the swing of creating. Hope you are feeling creative and not stuck with the winter blahs like me.
Be sure to stop by these great parties:
These are great pictures! You made some really pretty vignettes, something I really admire in people. I struggle with them. The bright colors make me happy and whites make me feel peaceful. This weather would make anyone feel blah...so much gloom!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
All great vignettes, Kathy!
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely not feeling creative - must be the gray days.
ReplyDeleteWill you please do me a favor and when this comment goes to your email, let me know if you get a NO Reply Comment@ blogger.com. I'm having trouble with my emails and don't know exactly where the issue is. Thanks!
Yes, the blahs! Must be a January thing. Love white Wednesday though! Nice pics! I feel better already!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have been experiencing my worst ever case of the January blues! Hopefully things are going to improve as temps here in New England are going up to the 40s and even 50s tomorrow for one day!! I just love the face on the cherub in your first photo. That is exactly how I feel!! Linda
ReplyDeleteI am ready for some warmer weather...but not HOT. We have been so cold this year! You have some beautiful displays...hope you are feeling energized!
ReplyDeleteI am SO there with you! I cannot get my energy going.

I have felt the same way over the past few days...did some work around the house but had to push myself.. Love all the beautiful vignettes. Several of those had me craving Spring too. I am following along with you.. Thanks for stopping by to visit with me at my Mountain Blessings. I hope you will visit again and follow with me too. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteOh, I understand about no energy. I get tired out pretty quick any way. I'll be you'll be up and running soon. Now if I could just get out of my chair! ;) I love all your pretty snaps and you always put together lovely vignettes.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I enjoyed seeing these lovely vignettes and especially liked the one with the white cross and pitcher. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my Winter Living Room. You had asked about the wall colour. It is called Toffee Cream by Beautytone which is a line that Home Hardware (Canadian) carries. Its funny you asked about it as we've had that colour for about 8 years and I'm ready for a change!

I thankfully have my daughter's wedding coming which has made me kick into gear or I fear the winter blahs would overwhelm me- as they do in the cold dark days of -20 temps. We have a little sun but too cold to go out, so I will find something to do and by the time the wedding gets here...it will be close to Spring!!
ReplyDeleteYes! It's been SO hard to get motivated lately! Which is another reason I have fallen behind on reading blog posts, so....
ReplyDeleteI really like the art hanging over your master bed at the lake house. It is gorgeous!
And your roosters look great.
The vignettes in this post are lovely. My favorite is the last one...the colors are perfect.
No Winter blahs here. it's my favorite time of year. Well, we don't really get much weather that seems Wintery, but it was quite cool this morning and that makes me want to be outside and get things done.
ReplyDeleteAs for your Winter blahs, I think everyone needs a break to do something different for a while now and then. Hope you get your creative side moving again soon, but enjoy the little break in the meantime!
