Today, I had the chance to get out and do some thrifty shopping. First stop, Good Will. I found a great picture ($3.93) for the guest room that I'll share later on, a huge bag of curtain ring clips for $1.51, and a decorating book to add to my collection for $2.92.
My next stop was Wal Mart for some vitamins and a few other things, then on to the Hen's Nest. I used the gift certificate Blake and Rachel gave me for my birthday. I bought the items for this Easter vignette I have on the coffee table.
I love this glass pedestal dish.

I love this glass pedestal dish.
I purchased a small bag of spotted eggs to place in it, and also this sweet basket filled with white tulips.
By placing all the items in this white wooden box, I created a sweet Easter vignette.
I added the pink bunny I bought last year
I found some pastel colored eggs I had purchased last year and added those to the dish.
More Easter decor.
I haven't added a lot of Easter decor, per se, but mostly Spring items. I'm loving all the pastel colors with the cottage look in the family room. Easter is only 2 weeks away. Have you decorated your home yet?

Kathy,
ReplyDeleteI love the accessories individually. . .
and adore the Easter vignette you've designed by combining them together!
Easter's certainly on its way at Shadymont!
Fondly,
Pat
