Recently, I pulled out some of my fall floral items and created a small wreath and a wall/door arrangement. I'm recycling supplies I already had to make something new.
I bought a small grapevine wreath for $2 recently and decided to attach items to make it work for the fall season. I started by hot gluing some burgundy and orange flowers on, added some berries and leaves, a pumpkin, and our initial "M". I found a piece of mesh ribbon to make a bow, and here is the final product.
I've had this cone shaped metal container with the cupid face for several years. It came from Kirkland's. To make this arrangement, I used floral putty to attach a piece of green floral foam to the inside. Then I clipped various floral and leave stems from fall bushes I had, and randomly arranged them inside the cone. It will be pretty hanging on the front porch, probably beside the door.
To make this arrangement, I rescued an old crock from a storage shelf, and filled it with mostly yellow flowers from my stash. This scarecrow was a 98c find at Wal Mart, and finishes the arrangement off.
I decided to makeover this burlap wreath for this fall since I sold the one I had last year, in a yard sale! Don't know why I did that except, I had so many, and was really trying to purge some!
Anyway, this is the wreath that I made over for this year.
All I did was remove the aqua rosettes, and add leaves, and other fall items I had in my stash. I just hot glued them on, then clipped some mini clothespins on some of the items for fun.

This was a very easy project, and I will use it on the front door.

I'm trying to just add a bit of fall color right now without going all out. It's hard to do! At least when I am ready to bring it all out, I will already have some of the items recycled and ready to go for this year.
