HELP!!! PLEASE!!

Does anyone have HTML code to re-insert "join this site" on the Google Friends gadget for Blogger?  Mine is gone, so no one can join that way.  Followers are still there, but no link to click on to join by GFC.  Please email to me if you have it or can capture it from your html code.

ALSO, part of my sidebar bounces as you scroll down the page.  Has anyone ever had this happen, and if so, how did you fix it?

I'd appreciate any help you could give!  This is so frustrating!!!

  4. My side bar is bounching too. Very annoying! Your friend connect bar is there as far as I can see. Mine dissappeared a few days ago and came back after I changed my template. Maybe yours is doing the same. Did you recently change anything? Or it could just be Google and everyone is experiencing these problems. Regardless, yours seems to fixed now, hope they fix the jumping around stuff soon too! Have a great day!

Thrifty Bookcase Makeover

About a year ago, I was working on a photo gallery area at the lake home. There is an area about 7x7 between the living room, and the hall bath. I bought a really inexpensive ($20.00) bookcase to use there to hold family photos. I hurriedly placed photos on it, and didn't think much about it.   The last time we were at the lake, I was sitting there looking at how badly it looked, wondering what I could do to spruce it up a little.  It had all colors/types of picture frames -red, pink floral, wood, brass, you name it!   I remembered seeing adhesive shelf liner at the Dollar General the day before.  So I made a quick trip back there, and bought one 9 ft. roll for less than $3.00.  I know this is not an original idea and has been done by lots of people, but I wanted to show you anyway.   First, I emptied out all the photos, pulled out the shelves, measured, and cut the paper to fit inside the bookcase.  I also took all the photos out of the frames and w...

Stenciled Burlap Pillow

I just have to share my no sew pillow project.  I had some burlap fabric in my fabric stash, and decided I would use it to cover a pillow.  First, I found an old pillow I no longer use.  I spread the burlap out on the floor and laid my pillow on it so I could cut the fabric big enough to cover it.  I was so intent on the project, I didn't make any pictures of the process. Once the burlap was cut, I folded in the sides about an inch, and glued it down with Tacky Glue, pressing it down several times with my fingers.  I did this all the way around the fabric, and laid it aside to dry over night.  The Tacky Glue dries clear. My next step was to determine how I could lap the fabric over the cushion in an envelope fashion.  I had tried to get my computer to print out a graphic that would show up on the burlap, but printer problems interfered with that plan, so I found the center, and stenciled it with the tree stencil I bought at Michael's. ...
