Simple Fall Decor

I'm enjoying the simplicity of my coffee table vignette for fall.  I always like to decorate with trays.  Here is my tray vignette. The addition of 2 ceramic pumpkins gives a nod to fall. One other place where I kept it simple is this corner in the dining room. I bought this swag last year at a consignment shop, and still like it. Simplicity on the bookcase, just a couple of pumpkins. This year, it's "less is more" at my house.  Come back in a day or two to see some more fall decor. More Fall Décor

Just dropping in to share the décor in the dining room.  Still keeping it simple. Here is the little side table where I added to what was already there, some flowers, leaves, and a pumpkin.  I still love using my blue sewing drawer.  This bunch of flowers are just lying on a cake stand. Are you finished adding Fall décor to your home, or are you still tweaking? A Fall Vignette in the Family Room

I've had this wall vignette up for sometime in some form or other.  I've used plates on the wall, and pink and green in the wall container.  I decided to use my dried hydrangeas to decorate this area for Fall.  I also placed some hydrangeas on the shelf.  I think this gives a Fall look to this area without the traditional oranges.  This shows the entire table vignette and the wall vignette.  Keeping it simple and natural. Fall Mantel

I've had a hard time getting my mantel ready for Fall.  I started out with it done in white. Very simple, but it wasn't really what I wanted.  So I flipped the shutters to the other side, which is blue.  The pumpkin paiinting is one of my first paintings. I think I will keep the blue for a while.  It could change but for now it's good. Fall Décor in the Entry

We've had some cooler weather, so I finally brought some of the Fall décor up from the basement. I'm keeping it light this year, and not bringing so much up.  Only a vase of Fall flowers, a Welcome sign, and a Fall painting, atop the yellow tablecloth. I'll share more later.  Have you started your Fall decorating?  Sharing here: Tweak It Tuesday @  www.cozylittlehouse.com Inspire Me Tuesday @  A Stroll Thru Life   The Scoop @ Confessions of a Plate Addic t Show and Share @ Coastal Char m What's It Wednesday @  Ivy and Elephants Centerpiece Wednesday @  The Style Sisters

Cool Weather Table Setting

As the days begin to cool off, I start thinking about comfort foods, like chili, or vegetable soup.  With that in mind, I set the dining room table in Fall colors, and ready for soup/chili days.  This tablecloth has pears and apples on it, as do the dishes.  The cloth is a consignment find, and the dishes are from DT. The napkins repeat the colors from the tablecloth.  The tablecloth has a crocheted round one layered on top for more interest.  The candleabra is something I purchased last year at an antique shop.  It is done in a rusty look which I really like. This is my first Fall decor for this year and is only in the dining room.  The other will come out later. Changing the Guest Room

I've had the guest room decorated in green all year.  Since Fall is just around the corner, I decided it would be alright to go ahead and change out the comforter to a brown one I already had. I like the green, but am ready for a change, so here is the room done in browns.       Are you starting to add some fall colors to your rooms?
